The Clown of the Sea

The bill of the puffin takes on boldly colored markings during breeding season and the birds use it for courtship. Clumsy on land, this little bird is very agile under water thanks to its powerful and short wings. It catches lots of small fishes that it carries to the nest in its beak.

I created this illustration for my 2024 calendar. I chose the Atlantic Puffin for the month of June, when the breeding season is in full swing.

Characteristics :

• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
• Heavy paper of 245 g/m²
• Plastic-free packaging : the print is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and protected in a cristal paper sleeve. Take care of our planete, recycle or reuse the packaging !
