A tropical song

Hard to spot but easy to hear ! The song of the oriole resonates in european wooded countryside in early april and carries us in the jungle with its 3 melodious notes. It’s indeed in sub-Saharan Africa that this bird spend the cold season.

I created this illustration for my 2024 calendar. I chose to draw the Golden Oriole for the month of August, in a fig tree because it’s this bird loves feeding on this fruit during this season.

Characteristics :

• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
