A colorful migrator

With its bright and pretty colors, we might think this bird comes from exotic countries ! And yet it is a bird we can easily observe in Europe, at least during the warm months, when it arrives to nest in colony in sandy banks near river shores in which it digs a tunnel. We can spot this bird by hearing its characteristic rolling call.

I did this illustration for my 2024 calendar for the month of may.

Characteristics :

• Size : A6 (10,5 x 15 cm) or A5 (15 x 21 cm)
• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
• Heavy paper of 245 g/m²
• Plastic-free packaging : the print is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and protected in a cristal paper sleeve. Take care of our planete, recycle or reuse the packaging !
• Shipping : within 2-5 workings days. Sent with a tracking number.

I print each print myself on demand, I need some time to prepare them !
