Like a Butterfly

This bird is not a hummingbird, even if it resembles with its thin and long beak, but a small passerine bird living on the high mountains rock walls, and called a Wallcreeper. Its bright red-colored wings and its fluttering flight are reminiscent of a butterfly. Even if you don’t live in high mountains, you may have the chance to observe this small bird in lower altitudes during winter, when it leaves its summer habitat to settle on old buildings (churches, cathedrals,…)

I chose to paint the wallcreeper for the month of March for my 2024 calendar.

Characteristics :

• Size : A6 (10,5 x 15 cm) or A5 (15 x 21 cm)
• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
• Heavy paper of 245 g/m²
• Plastic-free packaging : the print is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and protected in a cristal paper sleeve. Take care of our planete, recycle or reuse the packaging !
• Shipping : within 2-5 workings days. Sent with a tracking number.

I print each print myself on demand, I need some time to prepare them !
