- Possible sizes and number of animals
A6 (10,5 x 14,8 cm – 4.1 x 5.8 inches) : only 1 medium-sized animal (small dog, cat,…) possible or 2 small animals maximum (rodents, bunnies,…).
A5 (14,8 x 21 cm – 5.8 x 8.3 inches) : 2 large animals (large dogs, horses,…) maximum ; 3 medium-sized animals maximum ; 5 small animals maximum.
A4 (21 x 29,7 cm – 8.3 x 11.7 inches) : 3 large animals maximum ; 5 medium-sized animals maximum ; 7 small animals maximum.
Other special sizes possble on demand : square or lengthened.
I accept any real animal living species (pets, domestic or wild animals). I do not accept fantastic creatures, chimeric animals, humans, vehicles…
- Pictures to send
I ideally need several pictures of the animal(s), on which we can see as many body parts as possible and from different angles.
If a specific picture is good enough (definition, shooting, pose of the animal), I can directly use it to create the portrait. If it is not the case, I can use several pictures to “recreate” a position, that we will have specify together beforehand.
Please note I accept only “natural” positions.
- Background elements
Without background : white background, eventually with watercolor “splashes”.
With background : natural (pot plant, leaves, flowers, etc) or artificial (window or door sill, chair, etc).
If you already have ideas of the backgorund you want, the colors to use, tell me when you contact me, and I will see if it is possible to do them. To see background examples,check the gallery .
Please note that the size of the backgrounds elements must be adapt to the size of the animal(s).
I also accept to do items linked to the animal(s) (favorite toy, basket, blanket, plush, …) whether there is a background or not.
