On the ice or into the ocean

The Harp Seal was (and still is but in reduced number) a major victim of seal hunting, especially for the white fur of the new born pups. The very cute look of these pups and the violence of the hunt practices, which has been highly mediatized around 70s, has led to a strog indignation of the western countries populations. Fortunately, following this and the decline of the harp seals populations, the trade of seal pups fur has been restricted and later forbidden in some countries, like USA and the EU countries.

Characteristics :

• Sizes : A6 (10,5 x 14,8 cm), A5 (14,8 x 21 cm) or A4 (21 x 29,7 cm)
• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
• Plastic-free packaging : the print is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and protected in a cristal paper sleeve. Take care of our planete, recycle or reuse the packaging !
• Shipping: within 2 to 5 working days : I print myself all the prints on demand, I need some time to prepare them ! Sent with a tracking number.
