This small red bird is native from Madagascar, but has been introduced ot the Mascarenes Islands, which the Réunion Island belongs. I created this illustration during my year spent on this island, and it was directly inspired of a scene I observed during a walk in the forests of the island. A male red fody was perched on a liana, and I could see the big leaves of a monstera behind. The bright red of the bird and the dark green of the foliage did a beautiful contrast.

Characteristics :

• Size : A6 (10,5 x 14,8 cm) or A5 (14,8 x 21 cm)
• Printed on fine art archival (non-yellowing), textured paper, reminding of watercolor paper.
• Plastic-free packaging : the print is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and protected in a cristal paper sleeve. Take care of our planete, recycle or reuse the packaging !
• Shipping: within 2 to 5 working days : I print myself all the prints on demand, I need some time to prepare them ! Sent with a tracking number.
